How do I disable Windows Modules Installer Worker?

The Windows Modules Installer Worker should not be disabled because it takes care of important updates. But temporarily you can prevent it using Task Manager or disabling services of Windows Update. Note that this can cause problems with updates and as such only perform it when the Windows installer modules worker goes slow in a system.
