Some store documents on servers far longer than users expect, while others share metadata with advertisers. I was surprised to learn how often encryption is weak or completely missing. The article also mentioned risks like reused phone numbers and unsecured cloud storage. After reading it, I became much more cautious and now avoid sending sensitive files through apps that don’t clearly explain how data is handled.
