Did anybody ever try it himself to grow cashews up at home?

I've been obsessed with exotic gardening lately and was googling how do cashews grow because the fruit looks so weird. I consider making a small tropical spot at my sun room. Does anybody know whether they will survive in big pots? I was examining some of the stout planters that abodelook has which could come in with the drainage with which they have to deal. Any tips for a total beginner?
